Iriria

In the Talamanqueña mythology, Costa Rican indigenous culture, Sulára (in cabécar) or Irìria (in bribri) is the representation of earth gilr, an important person involved in the creation of the world. She is daughter of Sulá, the lord of the underworld, and Namáur Siáur.

She lived in the underworld, and Sib needed her to create the land. She was constantly attacked by Dukur Bulu, who sucked her blood. Thanks to this, Sibö discovered it and began to ponder how to use it to carry out the plan of the creation of the earth. Deceived, her mother went west with the supposed Sibö. Then, this one took advantage to rob the girl, to bring her to this world and to transform it in the earth that at present gives the agricultural sustenance.
